Product Tips: Don’t Go Back
Sometimes you just need to prevent respondents from going back. For example, if you deploy a multi-page survey, an applicaton form, or even an online examination, you likely do not want the respondent to go back and alter what they previously entered. Or, you may even consider this when blocking unscrupulous individuals a means to access personal information entered by the previous user of the browser session, when the initial user has forgotten to complete or submit their survey.
The appearence for the back button will change from this:
for (count=0;count<document.forms.elements.length;count++) if (document.forms.elements[count].name==”back”) document.forms.elements[count].style.display=”none”;
