Product Tips: Adding Images to Surveys
Clicktools enables you to add images in text elements in surveys. However, you can only refer to images you have stored in the Clicktools application.
Here’s how to do it:
- Upload an image by navigating to the Image Library. The path from the Homepage is Quick Tasks > Manage Templates > Image Library.
2. Click Upload new Image.
3. Enter the path and filename of the image you want to upload or use the Browse button to find the file. The Dashboard accepts GIF, PNG and JPG file formats. Images used in templates should be as small as possible to enable a fast page download.
4. Click Upload.
5. Click the Edit text/script field in the Builder to insert your image and format your text, html, or script, using the standard WYSIWYG options. Find your image by clicking the Insert Picture button and selecting it. If you’re not familiar with the button types within the editor, hover your mouse over each to display the name/function.
6. Click Apply.
Note that if you want to add a picture to a question type other than text/script, you will need to utilize an image tag (i.e. the web path to where the image is stored). To do so, select the Source button and type or paste the image tag. See below for how to format the tag.
