New Clicktools Release Available – February 2014
We are thrilled to announce that the Clicktools solution was updated on February 9, 2014. See the release notes here.
This February 2014 release of the Clicktools solution focuses on the value of connection. We concentrated our development time and effort on improving integration with CRM and streamlining the management of connectivity within Clicktools.
Notably, Clicktools is now officially a Salesforce Connected App. A Connected App is an application that can connect directly to Salesforce using the Salesforce OAuth2 security protocol, giving greater security and control of admin policies. This change means that Clicktools will no longer store your Salesforce credentials. You will now manage them directly in Salesforce, meaning greater ease of use and increased efficiency by never having to update your password(s) in Clicktools again. Also, administrators will take comfort in knowing that all user credentials and security policies are centrally managed.
For our CRM on Demand, Sugar, and Microsoft Dynamics customers, using the new Credentials Manager feature you will be able to manage credentials in one central place, rather than having to reset your password against every survey you have integrated with CRM, saving you time and effort.
