Highlights from C3 EMEA
London was the place to be this week for sales, marketing, and customer experience professionals in EMEA (and beyond). We hosted CallidusCloud Connections (C3) EMEA 2016 to bring together hundreds of attendees seeking the latest strategies, best practices, and success stories in customer experience, sales and marketing, and sales analytics.
Among the highlights was an opening keynote from CallidusCloud CEO, Leslie Stretch, on the professionalization of sales. This talk addressed the key challenges facing high-growth businesses, including scaling their sales force and channel partners. He spoke about the intense changes underway as companies strive to market and sell using new technologies, and how increasingly high expectations from customers don’t make these endeavors any easier. Organizations must professionalize their sales forces to grow revenues and expand margins, and to remain competitive in today’s ultra-fast-paced environment.
We were honored to welcome Sir Clive Woodward as our celebrity keynote. Hailed as the “Godfather of Rugby” and recognized as the coach whose innovative approach to preparation propelled England to the 2003 Rugby World Cup, Sir Woodward’s legendary leadership on and off the field has earned him tremendous respect and success in both business and athletics. At C3, he spoke on “The DNA of a Champion,” which outlined the qualities of champions — those who demonstrate talent, ongoing learning, open-minded thinking, and consistent hard work. Based on his coaching methodology, our C3 attendees took away new ways to think about management, team-building, achieving high performance, and empowering individuals to go beyond their perceived best, which collectively creates outstanding teams.
As an added benefit, many conference participants took advantage of the opportunity to expand their product knowledge during Day 1 (January 19th), which was dedicated to training and CAB sessions across the CallidusCloud platform, including Clicktools, Litmos, and key products within the Lead to Money suite. We welcomed meaningful input from users to help steer our roadmap in a customer-driven direction. Thanks to our loyal users for their insights on how certain features and capabilities are currently being leveraged, where we can improve, and where we have gaps. Stay tuned for how your feedback will be implemented.
