Happy 10th Birthday, AppExchange!
Way back in 2006, Salesforce launched the AppExchange. And what a platform it’s turned into! Today, it’s the world’s number one business app marketplace with more than 3 million installs. The AppExchange’s incredibly knowledgeable community of users have shared more than 55,000 reviews (with 416 of those just for Clicktools).
In honor of its 10th birthday, we wanted to acknowledge what the AppExchange has meant to us over the years. First of all, we are very proud of the fact that we were the first survey app on the exchange. Yes, we’ve been there for almost ten years ourselves and have gathered countless new leads and customers from the community, many of whom give us five star reviews and glowing comments about their experience with Clicktools as well as our service and support teams.
On the flip side, on rare occasions when someone gives us a negative review or has a suggestion about how we can improve, we take that feedback very seriously. Comments on the exchange have directly affected our product roadmap and have helped Clicktools evolve into the big-time enterprise feedback solution we offer today — leaps and bounds from the survey app we launched ten years ago. Have you reviewed us yet? If not, please click here to share your comments on the exchange now.
Salesforce discontinued its Customer Choice Awards a few years back, but we were thrilled to win the AppExchange Customer Choice Award for Best Survey App for five straight years (2009 – 2013). A big thanks to all of our customers and partners who helped us assert our leadership in enabling Salesforce users to collect, centralize, and act on customer interactions. What an honor!
The last point I want to call out is our deep integration with Salesforce and how valuable that partnership has been to us but more importantly, to our customers. One of the most powerful capabilities we offer the marketplace, this integration of feedback in Salesforce empowers organizations to take customer success and experience to new levels. It enables organizations to better leverage the power of Salesforce to build a 360-degree view of customers that significantly improves customer knowledge, interactions, and loyalty.
As a token of our appreciation, CallidusCloud became a sponsor of Salesforce’s Girls Who Code program. For every AppExchange install today, Salesforce will donate $10 to Girls Who Code, a nonprofit that educates, inspires, and equips high school girls with the skills and resources to pursue opportunities in computing fields. We’re very excited to work together with Salesforce and our fellow sponsors to create the next generation of app builders. Go girls!
Here’s to an amazing first 10 years. Thank you Salesforce and your awesome AppExchange! We look forward to celebrating many more birthdays with you.
