FEATURE PREVIEW: Clicktools to become a Salesforce.com Connected App & provide more efficient credentials management
Coming in January 2014, Clicktools will officially become a Salesforce.com Connected App. A Connected App is an application that can connect directly to Salesforce.com using the Salesforce OAuth2 security protocol, giving greater security and control of admin policies.
This change means that Clicktools will no longer store your Salesforce credentials. You will now manage them directly in Salesforce, meaning greater ease of use and increased efficiency by never having to update your password(s) in Clicktools again. Also, administrators will take comfort in knowing that all user credentials and security policies are centrally managed.
For our CRM on Demand, Sugar, and Microsoft Dynamics customers, using the new Credentials Manager feature you will be able to authenticate and select credentials in one central place, rather than having to reset your password against every survey you have integrated with a CRM system, saving you time and effort.
