When attempting to authorize a CRM user in a new Salesforce environment (or within a refresh of an existing environment), Salesforce returns the error: “We can’t authorize you because of an OAuth error. For more information, contact your Salesforce administrator.
1800 : There was a problem in setting up your remote access”
To be proactive we are recreating the Clicktools connected app on another instance of Salesforce and updating the Clicktools code. This will allow you to authorize the CRM user, in the same manner, using the credentials manager in Clicktools. - March 2017: Clicktools users may have experienced brief service interruptions on Sunday, 19th March, From 06.00-07.00 GMT/UTC (2.00-3.00 AM EDT). We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause; however, this brief interruption allows us to make key updates to the application. See the release notes.
- January 2017: To enhance security we have added an HTTPS Only survey feature to Clicktools. This is designed to only allow content delivered over HTTPS protocol. This will not allow for HTTP connections to the survey/form as a redirect to HTTPS takes place. See the release notes.
- Sunday, November 20th, 2016: Clicktools users may have experienced brief service interruptions from 5.00 – 5.30 AM GMT (12:00 – 12:30 AM EST). Maintenance was performed allowing us to make key updates to the application. See the release notes.
- Sunday, June 19, 2016: Clicktools users may have experienced brief service interruptions from 5.00 – 6.00 BST (12:00 – 1:00 AM EDT) as we applied updates to the application. See the release notes.
- Sunday, May 22, 2016: Clicktools users may have experienced brief service interruptions from 5.00 – 6.00 BST (12:00 – 1:00 AM EDT) as we made key updates to the Clicktools application. See the release notes.

- Wednesday, March 9, 2016: The Clicktools website had a brief outage at approximately 12:00 UTC. During this time, the Clicktools application remained fully available and surveys were not affected. In the case of a future website outage, please access the application directly at https://app.clicktools.com/app/login.jsp.
- Thursday, February 25, 2016: The Clicktools application had intermittent outages between 1:30 – 3:10 MST due to a spike in HTTP requests to the servers. During this time, surveys may have been unavailable and users may have experienced CRM synchronization failures and issues logging in and out of the application.
- Saturday, February 13, 2016: The Clicktools application was updated to enhance dashboards, response tables, IVR capabilities, and other features. See the release notes.
- Friday, February 5, 2016: The Clicktools application had a brief outage at 12PM (MST) for approximately six minutes, during which time surveys were unavailable. This issue has been resolved.
- Wednesday, January 27, 2016: Clicktools’ Operations team was made aware of performance issues with the application. The problem was identified at approximately 9:17 AM (PST) and was resolved by 9:34 AM (PST). During this time, some customers may have experienced errors while accessing the Clicktools application. We are working towards a solution to prevent this issue from ever occurring in the future. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
